On-Property Agreement Update
As most you have probably seen by now, the On-Property Agreement was ratified. As such, the detention time, meal increase and weekend differential pay should have went into effect June 2nd. There have some been reports around the system about some employees not getting all of the proper pay adjustments.
If you believe you have a ticket without any of those pay increases after June 2nd, shoot me a text with the full train symbol.
The Local Chairmen will be meeting with local management in the coming weeks to figure out off days / self-sustaining pools. PWS won’t go into effect until Jan. 1, 2024. Current bid / bump rules remain in effect until then.
Additionally, the fourth Service Recognition Bonus ($1000) will be paid out within 30 days after ratification. Anyone who worked between Jan. 1 - April 30, 2023 and remains in active service will qualify for that bonus.
