Pay Increase for having a CT

This addendum supplements the conductor trainer (coach) Agreement effective February 1, 1999.

The parties are committed to continued collaboration to enhance the safety and quality of the training program. As part of that collaboration, you have committed to partner with us and support, the following enhancements to our existing training program:

• Co-development and deployment of a train the trainer module for all conductors;

• Standardized monitoring and reporting of a Conductor Trainee’s activities and

progression consistent with the Conductor Trainee Qualification Book;

• Development and implementation of a bi-lateral rating system for Conductors and Conductor Trainees to rate the trainer’s or trainee’s engagement, professionalism, and commitment to working safely (these categories may be expanded in the

future).

In recognition of this commitment and to acknowledge the important role that conductors/foremen play in training conductor trainees, effective August 1, 2023, the parties agree to increase the training allowance for each tour of duty they are assigned a trainee to:

• $35 when working in other than through freight service

• $30 when working in through freight service
